At Dublin Airport, the Airport Noise Monitoring and Management System (ANOMS) is operational 24 hours a day, seven days a week, continuously tracking and recording aircraft flights to and from the airport.
The system uses data from air traffic control radar systems and aircraft operations data to build a detailed picture of the airport activity. The collected data is summarised and presented in the dashboard below. The dashboard is updated for the current month and data from previous months is accessible using the drop-down in the top right corner.
Hovering the computer mouse over the dashboard components reveals more details. Clicking on a bar (e.g. one day) can interact with other charts on the dashboard. Click again to change or go back.
The top row of the dashboard shows the number of arrivals and departures per day and per runway, with additional data available in the various subpages:
- Period: Provides an insight into the numbers of arrivals and departures using the airport per day and per hour.
- Category: Summarises the number of flights at the airport for each airline and aircraft type.
- Trend: Outlines how the numbers of arrival and departures per hour in the selected month compare to the previous six months.
- Flight Track Performance: Includes data about aircraft adherence to the Noise Preferential Routes (NPR) and with the Continuous Descent Approach (CDA) procedures.
